Merrimack Valley Rotary Club for the Lawrence L. Day Memorial Scholarship Fund
This scholarship was created by Merrimack Valley Rotary in memory of Lawrence L. day to provide annual scholarships awards to students based on academics and financial need to Dracut High School, Lowell High School, Westford High School, Tyngsboro High School, Tewksbury High School, Billerica High School and Chelmsford High Schools.
Merrimack Valley Food Bank for the Guy Francesshelli Scholarship Fund
Established to provide a scholarship award to a student graduating from Lowell High School who has achieved a distinguished record of community service and who has demonstrated a commitment to pursue college study in computer science or information technology.
Deolinda Mello Scholarship Fund
To celebrate Mello’s legacy, the scholarship has been created by members of the Portuguese-American community in Lowell. This Memorial Scholarship has been established to provide students at Middlesex Community College with a scholarship, and will target Lowell residents who are immigrants and/or children of immigrants, who are pursuing higher education at Middlesex, and who wish to dedicate their lives to helping others.
Marty Meehan Educational Foundation Scholarship Fund
The purpose of the Fund is to provide a scholarship award to deserving Lowell High School seniors who plan to pursue a degree in government, political science or public policy at an accredited academic institution.
Ryan P. McMahon Memorial Scholarship Fund
Created by family and friends in memory of Ryan, who died while a student at St. Margaret’s Elementary School in Lowell. The scholarship is to be awarded to graduating Lowell High School seniors who have also graduated from St. Margaret’s.
Clement G. McDonough Memorial Scholarship Fund
Awards a scholarship to an outstanding student of politics or current events from Lowell High School.
Jane G. O’Connor McCarthy Scholarship Fund
This Lowell High School scholarship will be awarded to deserving seniors interested in studying nursing. This scholarship was established in recognition of her career in nursing that enabled her to support five children after her husband died at a young age.
McAuliffe Elementary School PTO Scholarship Fund
The purpose of the Fund is to provide scholarship awards to Lowell High School graduating seniors who have graduated from the McAuliffe Elementary School and have attended the McAuliffe school a minimum of 2-3 years. Students must have a GPA of 2.9.
Catherine J. McArdle Scholarship Fund
This Lowell High School scholarship, established in 2005 through a bequest, is open to all graduating seniors.
