Friends of Lowell High School Founders Scholarship Fund

The purpose of the Fund is to provide scholarship awards to Lowell High School graduates in Lowell, whose parents are members of the Friends of Lowell High School. Scholarship awardee must be a graduating senior attending Lowell High School who has a demonstrated record of service in student and or community activities, and must have applied to or been accepted by an accredited school or college in a degree granting program requiring at least two years of study.

Louis Fineman Scholarship Fund

Established in memory of the late farmer, cattle broker, and founder of the Pelham Bank and Trust, the scholarship is awarded to students who demonstrate an outstanding work ethic in academics, school service, and work in the community.

Therese Farrell Scholarship Fund

The fund established to provide a scholarship to a qualifying student graduating from Lowell High School, and planning to attend a four-year college or university pursing a major in education.

Leo J. Farley Memorial Scholarship Fund

The purpose of the Fund is to award a scholarship to one or more deserving students annually graduating from Lowell High School who wishes to pursue study at the University of Massachusetts Lowell. Candidates must have achieved at least an average grade at graduation. Preference may be given to a student athlete or a student who has participated in student government.

Fafa Scholarship Fund

The Fund was established to celebrate the graduation of Farah (Fafa) Nawab from London School of Economics, and to award an annual scholarship from the Fund to one or more graduating Lowell High School students who demonstrate high academic merit and economic need.

Emily Edwards Memorial Scholarship Fund

Established in 2022 to memorialize and celebrate the life of Emily Edwards. A Lowell High School Graduate and long time Lowell resident who dedicated her life caring for others. This scholarship is awarded to a Lowell High School graduate entering nursing school and educates themselves about sepsis through a written essay.

Natalie J. Eacrett Memorial Scholarship Fund

The Natalie J. Eacrett Memorial Scholarship Fund was created to memorialize the courageous life of Natalie Eacrett who died at the age of seven in May 2006. She was the great granddaughter of the donor, Mary L. McGrath Burnham, a LHS class of 1930 graduate. The Fund will provide scholarship awards to graduating seniors from Lowell High School who plans to attend a four year institution and pursue a R.N. degree in Nursing.

Agnes C. Durkin Memorial Scholarship Fund

Established to give financial assistance to students who have excelled academically while attending Lowell High School (LHS), and are in need of funds to further their education.

Barbara N. Dunsford Scholarship Fund

Awarded to LHS graduating seniors who plan to attend a two or four- year college or university with Community Service & Financial Need.

George and Carol Duncan Family Scholarship Fund

The Fund was established to provide scholarship awards to one or more deserving seniors from Lowell High School who rank in the top 1/3 of the graduating class, demonstrate financial need, and plan to study business, finance, or accounting at an accredited college or university.
