Rebello Art Scholarship

The purpose of the Fund is to provide scholarship awards to deserving art students from Chelmsford High School who pursue study in the field of art at an accredited, degree-granting art school, college or university. Scholarships will be awarded each year up to a maximum of four years to the same student so long as the student can demonstrate enrollment as an art major at an institution of higher learning.

Mary Jo (Reilly) Quinlan Memorial Scholarship Fund

The purpose of the Fund is to provide a scholarship award to a graduating senior who plans to attend The College of the Holy Cross and who has demonstrated leadership qualities at Lowell High School and/or the community at large.

Carrie B. Progen Scholarship Fund

Provides scholarship award to one or more deserving students graduating from Oakmont Regional High School, Ashburnham, Massachusetts. Scholarships are awarded to seniors who wish to pursue the study and practice of art at a school of higher education.

Portuguese-American Scholarship Fund

The fund provides one or more scholarship awards to Lowell High School graduates to pursue study at two-year or four-year college, with preference to students of Portuguese descent, defined as having direct relatives that have come from the Portuguese mainland or its two island areas, Madeira and the Azores.

Walter Jonathan Poirier Adoptee Scholarship Fund

Plomaritis Family Foundation Seven Tenets Scholarship Fund

The fund provides scholarship awards to Lowell High School (LHS) graduating seniors who have displayed a high degree of SPORTSMANSHIP while participating in at least one varsity sport at LHS, and performed volunteer work in the community.

People’s Club of Lowell Scholarship Fund

The purpose of the Fund is to provide scholarship awards to Lowell High School graduating seniors with a GPA of 2.5 to 3.0 that work 10-15 hours per week, and also participate in extracurricular activities.

Manilal Dadabhai Patel Memorial Scholarship Fund

Established in memory of Manilal Dadabhai Patel, father of Nitin Patel, to award a scholarship to one or more deserving students graduating from Lowell High School and who reflect Mr. Patel’s dedication to education and personal advancement.

Dana and Elizabeth Palmer Scholarship Fund

Established as a memorial to their parents; Dana Palmer a teacher at Lowell High School for thirty years and Elizabeth Palmer a devoted wife, mother and Lowell High School supporter. The fund awards an annual book prize to a Lowell High School student who has achieved a distinguished record in the study of American history, and also supports the history department at Lowell High School.

Overseas Scholarship Fund

The purpose of the Fund is to provide scholarship awards to graduating seniors from Lowell High School who emigrated here from another country. The student must demonstrate financial need, be involved in school activities, volunteer in the community, and maintain a B average or above.
